Sometimes marriages work out beautifully, in the short-term and the long-term, and that can be wonderful.
But sometimes they don’t last, and that can be deeply hurtful. It was with me. The statistics in America are not encouraging, and that can and does affect our society in an adverse manner, particularly the innocent – any children involved.
What is the answer or answers? At my age, I am seeking a mate who has character and kindness, and everything else. I guess I’m an optimist at heart and simply do not want to settle.
