A Future of Nonviolence

Both Gandhi and President Reagan produced – they not only had wonderful, insightful and inspiring ideas; they changed the world to a better place and left a legacy of thought that should be emulated. Non-violence is a concept not often applied to President Reagan.  But look at what he did, so much toward ending the Cold War and creating democracy and freedom – without firing a shot.  He did it with strength, economic and military in nature along with his superb communications to our American people and all of humanity.

Gandhi transformed India from a British “colony” such as America long ago to the largest democracy in the world – 350 million in 1947 at its independence over 1 billion now and with only about 2,000 deaths due to the violence in the process – amazing.

Both Mahatma Gandhi and President Reagan were works of genius in their accomplishments, right for their time and in so many aspects right for the 21st century, also.

In the 21st century we’re in a smaller world than ever – threatened by ISIS and Ebola – but at the same time marching ahead in technology, human understanding, and . . . hopefully and prayerfully in love toward Heaven on Earth.
