I just have to be me and try to improve and learn on each day that God grants me.
Thank You, Dear God.
Along those lines, I read a superb book once and reviewed it three more times. The author of “Successful Aging” is Daniel J. Levitin, Ph.D., a neuroscientist and cognitive psychologist, He wrote, “In a meta-analysis of ninety-two research papers, covering the life course from age 10 to 101, 75 percent of personality traits studied changed significantly after the age of forty and well beyond sixty.” I agree, as to my own life.
Currently, I am doing something I haven’t done before, reading or re-reading the following four books:
- “American Marxism” by Mark R. Levin; very powerful and thought provoking.
- “How to Avoid Climate Change” by Bill Gates; quantifies, describes, and presents graphs that are amazing in summarizing a complex challenge to humankind.
- “1984” by George Orwell; a classic that is chillingly alive in America and even more so in China.
- “Inside Money” by Zachary Karabell; goes back in an interesting way, outlining a unique American history of free enterprise in action through a family (so far).
