Democrats must convince the President of the facts about our national debt

I am trying to live within my budget and I think that I am succeeding.  At the end of this month, I will have better information.  It’s sad, even tragic, that our president doesn’t think our country has a spending problem.  It’s also very bad that during his presidency Americans who are poor or in the middle class have lost ground.

It’s time for President Obama to step up to the plate and recognize reality.  His fellow Democrats have a role to play in convincing him of the facts—that our national debt, entitlement obligations and deficits must be addressed in a bipartisan way.
