In “The Wall Street Journal,” (dated Thursday, April 7, 2022), I learned that between mid-2020 and mid-2021 investors directed $88 Billion of venture capital into climate tech globally. (according to research by PricewaterCoopers International Ltd.).
This is wonderful news not just because it’s a substantial amount of money aimed at mitigating climate change, but it’s free enterprise in action without the regulation/corruption/waste inherent in government money.
