Our Senior Pastor delivered a powerful sermon today by the title, “Hearts are Restless.” I am in the process of reading, a deep first read, an inspiring book, “The Autobiography of Martin Luther King, Jr.,” edited and compiled by Clayborne Carson.
Yes, life has its triumphs and tragedies, and the love from and to God can help us through, whatever, including fierce invasions, unprovoked, JUST PLAIN WRONG. Of course, I’m writing of the cries and pain in Ukraine.
Let me present a line from Chris as he shined today, “Our hearts are restless until they find the way in God.”
And a line from Dr. King, “The people had been as enthusiastic when I urged them to love as they were when I urged them to protest.” (1957, p.61 of his book compilation in his words, a genius with love deep in his heart, one who climbed that mountain).
Let’s PRAY for America, closely followed by Ukraine at this turning point in the life of their people led by their courageous PRESIDENT!
Let’s also pray for ALL the people under the yoke of dictators or corrupt, dishonest, unscrupulous, “leaders” who have NOT found their WAY in Christ/God. Pray for ALL people as we are ALL children of God, whether we recognize it or NOT!
