On December 12, 2021, I wrote about warfare on the very Christmas “card” which I composed as a blog on December 1, 2021. Following is my edited, thoughtful, loving version of what I originally penned, literally.
Warfare has become obsolete as of NOW! Tis the season of Peace on Earth and goodwill from and to ALL, nations and individuals,
PEACE! PEACE! PEACE! PEACE!
It’s been a dream of humankind for so, so, so, long.
The twentieth century with World War I and World War II certainly proved the dire need for PEACE, yet as humans we (as nations, individuals, and all sorts of human entities) have continued to repeat mistakes of the past.
They say that fools can learn from their own mistakes, but wise ones learn from the mistakes of OTHERS. I sincerely believe that with the wide scope of weaponry NOW, warfare has become obsolete and use of ANY of these weapons is folly.
Let’s NOT repeat our past mistakes. I’ve surely repeated so many of my own errors, but somehow we need to move forward surviving, striving, and thriving by NOT repeating blunders of our yesterdays, and yesteryears.
This is the season of optimism and celebration! THANK GOD!
“Silent Night” is one of my favorite Christmas songs, and it echoes NOW in the music playing and in my mind, body, and “little piece of God.”
Joy is a combination of emotion, mind, body, and spirit that can run through life’s good times and bad. For me, it’s been a long time coming, but I just plain LOVE this Christmas season and the celebration of our Christ Child’s Birth!
Balance of power hasn’t worked. Surrender hasn’t been a solution either.
CELEBRATE AND PRAY!
