Because of God’s enduring, steadfast love I believe God has a plan for humankind that will ultimately result in a Heaven on Earth. It is difficult for us to understand that plan because we are allowed to exercise free will all along the way, thus making a simple and direct move toward a Heaven on Earth impossible because of our own imperfections. However, I believe that a Heaven on Earth is inevitable because God is good and will assure that in the end good will triumph. The Men’s Retreat, January 17, 2004
