Professor of Philosophy Ken Himma will read “The News Ain’t All Good, Y’all: The Obligation to Help the Poor,” from How to Achieve a Heaven on Earth.
Kenneth Himma teaches philosophy at Seattle Pacific University and formerly taught in the philosophy department, information school and law school at the University of Washington. He has published more than one hundred scholarly articles in the areas of philosophy of religion, philosophy of law, and information and computer ethics, and presented papers all over the world.
